Tension in the Middle East

The atmosphere in the Middle East has only grown more tense with the rise of this issue. Most attempts at solving this issue fail, however the international community is working to create a solution to this conflict. For example, the United States has created the Institute of Peace, which has worked to provide police access to every person in the region. This helps to resolve security problems. Palestine and Israel would both like to resolve this issue, but both neither side is willing to budge on many topics. All of this makes solving the situation quite difficult. How do the countries see each other? What is being done? It is important to understand the dynamic of the conflict.
