The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
A Solvable Conflict?
Our Plan
More possible than the other options
It has been shown that it will be very difficult for the two sides to work out their differences and negotiate compromises between the nations. There is another option that is popular with a lot of the people of the region. While creating a fair society for the two states would be difficult, combining the two countries into one state would eliminate many of the problems that are at hand. This solution has also become increasingly popular with the residents of Israel and Palestine recently.

In this solution, The United Nations and the international community could help negotiate a deal where the two countries, Israel and Palestine, could join forces and turn the whole region into one, unified nation. This nation would have to be secular, meaning non-religiously aligned, as the country is practically split when it comes to religion. A secular state could allow all people to practice the religion that they want, however. With the United Nations help, the new country could draft a fair constitution that gave all people their rights.

This is not a perfect plan by any means, but it is in the realm of possibility, unlike many of the other options.
