What is the Conflict?

Israel is the only Jewish state in the world. They claim the area between the Mediterranean sea and the country of Jordan. Palestine also claims this same area. Palestine is a Muslim nation. There has been a lot of fighting and arguing due to these countries claiming the same land. The conflict is deciding who will get what land, and what type of government or governments will control the region. There are many problems that need to be addressed in the area, from control of borders to control of water sources. The origins of the conflict go back thousands of years.
